Baro is a rebranding of Valdez, a Peruvian-influenced restaurant located on King Street West.
Below; three-layer stencil using hand-drawn graphic design and installed using spray paint. The overall installation is comprised of over 370 stencil sprays using a few kilometers of tape and roughly 75 cans of spray paint.
Working with Executive Chef Steve Gonzalez, we combined efforts to include several of his signature ingredients within the stencil. Observational patrons can discover tuna, plantains, chili peppers and roosters. In addition, the centerpoint of the design has a banana leaf to compliment the Baro branding.
