For the Sweet Jesus franchise I worked directly with Andrew Richmond of Monarch & Misfits to create a more composed approach to the wheat pasting typically seen in their La Carnita locations with goopy ice cream add-ons and more pattern-based compositions. Aside from the Toronto Downtown, Uptown and Eastside locations, all of these compositions were also built on a digital platform to be more easily worked into their growing franchise.

Sweet Salvation Dubai is in the distinguished City Walk retail district. This site-specific digital composition anchors a generous percentage of their interior with over 600 sq ft of working graphics.

Sweet Jesus Branding Elements
Conceptual artwork for apparel, social media visuals, merchandise and site-specific graphics used in the wheat paste process throughout the various locations.
Based on Jack Davis’s Tales From the Crypt - a campy and stylized anthology series that recounts a string of horrific yarns introduced by the show's moldering host, the Crypt Keeper. This image was an exercise in drawing straight-to-vector for later original concepts.
Graphite drawing converted to digital for colouring and sprinkles. In the spirit of sculptor Paul Landowski’s Christ the Redeemer - the original drawing was modeled after the statue in front of Montreal’s Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church on Avenue Henri-Julien. Branding on plinth.
Graphite & digital drawing - based on Study of the Hands of an Apostle by Albrecht Dürer.
Digital illustration based on the Instagram followers of Sweet Jesus and how excited patrons document their visit.
