About
Jahn Page (b.1981) is a contemporary artist working across oil painting, relief sculpture, graphic design, and shaped canvas. His practice draws on 15+ years as a commercial artist in Toronto's hospitality design industry, where he developed his expertise in traditional painting methods and large-format installations.

The launch of Good Grief Studio in the spring of 2020 marked a turning point, allowing Page to expand his production abilities while refining the technical foundation that now defines his work: shaped canvases fabricated through a hybrid of traditional techniques and contemporary millwork technologies. This process produces wholly original works that move fluidly between painting and sculpture.
Central to his practice are Positive Gestures, abstract sculptural forms that function as standalone pieces or embedded within paintings of flowers and houseplants to complement specific moments in each composition. His series Okay Bouquet pairs these gestures with floral imagery recollecting on the act of giving and receiving flowers — works shaped by his experiences as a flower delivery driver.
Launched in 2025, Okay Bouquet Flower Shop extends the Okay Bouquet series into a project focused on reproductions and products designed to encourage soft optimism and joy. Through this project, Page aims to help people through his art art — whether through positive apparel, the Flowers with a Smile! activity book for children in care, limited-edition artwork to fund real-world positive gestures or quiet participatory video drawing sessions inspired by the instructional books of Lee J. Ames to ease one's mind.

During his professional career he has installed major works in Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, Dubai & Abu Dhabi.
He currently lives & works in mostly sunny Hamilton, Ontario.
Open to conversations, collaborations & commissions.
